Rules and Regulations:
- A non-refundable entry fee must accompany each accomplished and signed Official Entry Form. All runners will receive their singlets upon completion of the registration form and requirements.
- Registration is on a “first come first serve†basis. All runners should wear their Clark Freeport International Marathon singlets for their security and protection.
- Participants below 18 years old must have their entry form signed by a parent/guardian.
- Runners may claim their Official Race Packets (containing official race number with runner’s tag, safety pins, and route map) on January 09, 2007 at the place they registered. Those who registered on line may claim their T-shirts and Official Race Packets on January 10, 2008 at Ground Floor Vasquez Madrigal Building Annapolis, Greenhills, San Juan, Metro Manila or during actual race day upon payment.
- The organizer reserves the right to reject any entrant or disqualify any participant found to have misrepresented himself/herself. If his/her identity or eligibility is challenged, it is the responsibility of the participant to prove who he/she is. Entrants or participants found to have been dishonest are immediately disqualified and subjected to disciplinary sanctions by the race organizer and the Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association (PATAFA).
- Cut-off time for the 42k runners is 5 ½ hours.
- All age group winners must present a valid ID before they can claim their prize. (i.e. SSS ID, Passport, Driver’s license, TIN, Company ID, Postal ID or School ID)
- All protests related to results must be made in writing and submitted within one (1) hour after the end of the race to the race organizer. Verbal protests are not going to be entertained.
- The organizer may change without prior notice any of the rules and regulations that they deem necessary to ensure the success of the race.
- Every participant must comply with all the rules and instructions cited by the race organizers. Failure to do so may result in the participant’s disqualification
- The organizer’s decision is final.

PARKING – Vehicle parking is at the back of the Building 2125 corner CP Garcia Avenue and near Building 2127, Emilio Aguinaldo Avenue.
RESTROOMS – Men and ladies rooms are located at the back of start and finish area.
CLOTHING CHECK-IN SERVICE – Located at the back of start and finish area. Only clothing will be accepted for check-in. No bottles, coolers, or other items. We assume no responsibility for the items checked-in.
RUNNING COURTESY – Stay near the right shoulder of the road and within the coned areas so that runners coming back to your left have a clear lane. Do not cut in front of another runner until you can safely do so. If you decide to slow down or stop, gradually veer to the edge of the road.
AID STATIONS – Water is available at the start and at every 2 kilometer interval thereafter. There will be Aid Stations on the course where water cold sponges and medical assistance will be available. Please drop the sponges at or near the stations.
To keep the aid stations from being congested, continue on the last table and PLEASE KEEP MOVING.
WARNING – Inadequate training, failure to pace and disregard for the importance of taking fluids has resulted in life-threatening conditions such as heat stroke in both experienced and first time marathon entrants. If this is your first marathon or first experience in warm, humid climate, take fluids at each of our Aid Stations.
Should you begin to experience difficulties, stop and ask for advice or assistance from the medical personnel at the Aid Station before continuing.
THE FINISH – Upon crossing the finish line, you will be video recorded, timed, and directed into a chute where the bar code tag on your number WILL BE REMOVED. Move through the chute as quickly as possible but do not pass other runners. Please do not talk to the timers while the race is in progress as distractions can result to errors. Please exit as soon as you are able. Once you have passed through the finish area, do not return. Be courteous and make room for other finishers.
The finish line and all support services will officially close at 10:00 a.m.
RULES OF THE ROAD
- RUNNER NUMBER AND SHIRTS – Shirts or singlets, with the runner number positioned from the top center, MUST BE WORN throughout the entire race. The number MUST BE VISIBLE at all times. NO EXCEPTIONS will be allowed. Runner numbers are not transferable. You and the runner wearing your number will be disqualified.
DO NOT CUT OR FOLD YOUR NUMBER IN ANY WAY. DO NOT REMOVE THE TAG ON YOUR NUMBER. YOUR NUMBER WILL BE MARKED AND THE TAG REMOVED AT THE FINISH LINE.
- CHECKPOINTS – Your number will be recorded at several checkpoints along the course. Make sure your runner number is clearly visible. You may be disqualified if there is no record of your passing through the checkpoints.
- DRUG TESTING – Athletes who participate in this competition may be subjected to formal drug testing in accordance to PATAFA rules and IAAF Rule 144. Athletes found positive for banned substances, or who refuse to be tested will be disqualified from this event, and will lose eligibility for future competitions. Some prescription and over the counter medications contain banned substances.
- PROTESTS – Protests related to actions of any race official or runner may be accepted only in written form. We will not respond to verbal protests.
- THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW ANY PARTICIPANT PRIOR TO OR DURING THE RACE.
- THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ALTER ANY OF THESE RULES PRIOR TO THE START OF THE EVENT. IF SO, NOTICES WILL APPEAR IN MAJOR NEWSPAPERS.
